What is One Day Showdown?
A live-sport format where many teams play at the same time and one shared leaderboard, ranked by goal difference, decides everything. Instead of following a single match, you watch the whole board move in real time.
How much does it cost to watch?
Nothing. Entry to ODS events is free, no ticket needed. Just turn up.
When and where is the next Showdown?
The next event is the ODS 7-a-side Football Cup in Kigali, 29 August to 12 September 2026. The group stage plays across three venues and the finals add two more. The Events page has the full day-by-day schedule.
How does the scoring work?
Teams are ranked by goal difference, not points. A 6-0 outranks a 1-0 in real time, teams that never play each other still compete through the one shared board, and nothing is decided by penalty shoot-outs.
Can I follow it if I can’t be there?
